Entry permit

Indian visitors need an entry permit from the Lakshadweep administration. Many operators help with the application.

Best season

October to May has calm seas and clear water. Monsoon months bring rough weather and reduced services.

Alcohol is not available on most islands. Dress modestly in villages and protect the coral.

Terms. Lakshadweep Packages only helps travellers find and contact independent tour operators. Bookings, prices, payments, permits and travel arrangements are agreed directly between you and the operator. We do not guarantee any listing and are not responsible for operator services. Operators must give accurate information. Listings that are misleading or inappropriate may be hidden or removed.

Privacy. Operators who create an account share their email address, and the phone number, email and business name they put on a listing, which are shown publicly to travellers. Account emails are used only for login and account messages. Operators can edit or delete their listings at any time, or ask the site admin to delete their account. Travellers are not required to create an account. We count package views and contact taps (without personal details) to show operators how their listing performs.
